License agreements are long, filled with legal jargon, and vary wildly from platform to platform. A “royalty-free” license on one site can mean something entirely different on another. Many creators unknowingly violate license terms simply because they didn't read - or couldn't understand - the fine print.

We built LicenseOrg to solve this problem. By standardizing how license terms are presented across platforms, we make it possible to compare them at a glance and make informed decisions before you download.

Every platform entry in our guide is manually researched. We read the platform's official license agreement, terms of service, and FAQ pages. We then map what we find to our standardized 12-field framework covering the questions that matter most to users: commercial use, editing rights, attribution requirements, client work, and more.
